God moves when people pray and seek His face! At a time when the world is in chaos, there is a movement happening in the shadows that’s sparking a release of the Gospel on the streets of Minneapolis. In the past 40 days, the love of God has been proclaimed to thousands of people! Seeds have been sown into many hearts, physical healing’s have taken place, baptism’s have occurred on the streets and a revival of unity has been birthed.
It started on Pentecost Sunday when a large crowd got on their knees in prayer at the George Floyd memorial site, where they repented in humility and called on the name of Jesus to heal this land. People across racial boundaries began to hug and cry on each other’s shoulders and engaged in uncomfortable conversations on race and injustice. Churches, ministry leaders, believers, and members of the body of Christ began to unite in prayer, service, and ministry to the community. The site of the tragic death that caused civil unrest was immediately transformed into a prayer alter with worship, intercession, repentance, and healing. God began moving as outreach services began happening every day.
Over the past few months, I’ve watched the Unity Revival Movement progress and continue. Paying attention to what God was doing and watching many video updates online. I’ve known Pastor Charles and Lindsey Karuku and their ministry for many years now. At a time when there is major division in pretty much every area of life, it’s refreshing and encouraging to know that God is still moving! God is in control and He is still touching people’s hearts.
Seeing transformation in the hearts of people through the gospel of Christ is the base of what we strive to support at Be a Blessing. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to join with this ministry for June and July and partner with all the amazing ways that God is changing and healing hearts.
“This is not a political, economic, social, or race issue. We are dealing with a spiritual issue that can only be resolved through a radical transformation of hearts and a spiritual revival. We must be open to God and by his grace let the healing begin to the deepest cuts and wounds.” — Pastor Karuku
